Methylcobalamine is an essential active principle for humans. The cyanocobalamin taken up as orally must first of all be converted to the coenzyme forms methylcobalamin which is effective in humans.
Lutein is called a carotenoid vitamin. It is related to beta-carotene and vitamin A. Many multivitamins contain lutein. They usually provide a relatively small amount of 0.25 mg per tablet.
Grape Seed Extract is used for preventing diseases of the heart and blood vessels, varicose veins, “hardening of the arteries” (atherosclerosis), high blood pressure and swelling after injury or surgery.
Betacarotene can be found in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Beta-carotene is used to decrease asthma symptoms caused by exercise, to prevent certain cancers, heart disease, cataracts, and age related macular degeneration (AMD); and to support therapy for depression, headache, high blood pressure and skin disorders including psoriasis and vitiligo.
